The Rollo clan first appeared in Scottish records in 1141, when it appeared on a charter granted by Robert de Brus.
The clan’s origin is believed to have been related to the Norsemen who raided Scotland in the seventh and eighth centuries and they would eventually settle in Perthshire. The historic clan seat of Clan Rollo was at Pitcairns House.
The current clan chief is David Eric Howard Rollo.
